SJPA CONTINUES SUPPORT FOR "ADOPTED" MILITARY PARALEGAL

As you know, beginning in the Fall 2006, SJPA joined with NFPA (National Federation of Paralegal Associations)
to "adopt" one of our military counterpart paralegals to provide support, care packages, wish list items,
personal cards, birthday greetings and just a little slice of "home" to our "adoptee", in mailings to take
place every other month.
Our adoptees sometimes request wish list items to make their service abroad a little more comfortable.
Other suggestions of various hygiene, food, snack and miscellaneous items are contained in the list below. We
will be collecting items at every dinner meeting throughout the SJPA year.
Please also consider writing a short personal note to our adoptee; something as a simple as a "thank you" or
more detailed like an accounting of a "day in your life" as a paralegal. We're told that military paralegals
love to hear about what civilian paralegals do.
Periodic updates will be provided in SJPA's newsletter, The Reporter and at our Dinner Meetings regarding
correspondence from our Legalman, donations made, and care packages sent.
